BCLS relies heavily on volunteer support and regards both its volunteer law students and lawyers as a vital element in the effective function and delivery of the legal service.  

Volunteers are drawn mainly from local private law firms and the ranks of law students at Deakin University; however the volunteer program is open to any member of the public interested in giving their time.

As a condition of volunteering, all students and lawyers must become a member of the Barwon Community Legal Service Association.

Membership is free, entitles them to attend our AGM and receive the BCLS Newsletter.
